Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to request the deletion of your Chasky account and the data associated with it. Chasky is a messaging and digital wallet application operated by Code Craft Nexus LLC.

1. How to request deletion

From the app

1. Open Chasky and go to Profile → Account → “Delete my account”.
2. State the reason for your request.
3. Tap Submit.

From the web

1. Sign in at web.chasky.io.
2. Open your profile and go to Support → Contact us.
3. Under “Data deletion request”, fill in the Reason field and click Submit request.

If you can no longer access your account

If you have uninstalled the app or lost access, write to us at support@chaskyapp.com from the email address or phone number you registered with.

2. What happens next

• Chasky is a financial service, so we verify your identity before carrying out the deletion.
• We answer enquiries within ten (10) business days, extendable by five (5) more, and complaints within fifteen (15) business days, extendable by eight (8), under articles 14 and 15 of Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.
• Deletion cannot be undone.

3. What is deleted

• Your profile and contact details.
• Your messages, files and media.
• Your usage and analytics data.
• The codes derived from your address book, which are never retained.

4. What is retained and for how long

Some categories are retained after the account is closed because Colombian financial, tax and anti-money-laundering regulations require it.

Once the applicable period has elapsed, the information is deleted or anonymised, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it for longer.
